Turkey Burgers

A simple and tasty burger idea. It's excellent on the BBQ as well!

Ingredients:
  • 450 g lean turkey mince
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 hamburger rolls, halved
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp fruit chutney
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 small cucumber, sliced
Directions:
  1. Combine turkey mince, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, pepper and onion in a food processor. Brush the base of a non-stick skillet with olive oil.
  2. Form mince mixture into 4 patties and place in the skillet. Cook patties for a few minutes on each side until well browned and cooked.
  3. Spread fruity chutney on bread roll halves. Place cooked patties into rolls. Fill with salad vegetables and serve immediately.
